beer with a whisky chaser”
Cambridge English Dictionary
The "Chaser" is a small glass that contains 30ml of liquid instead of the 50-60 ml of the "Shot" glass. Commonly used to drink spirits of liquors, to be drank in one gulp.
In current drinking culture the Chaser is used as a way to get drunk, a lot and fast, representing a certain hedonistic behavior.
SHORT suggests an alternative to the generic Chaser glass-
A set of small 30ml glasses, each designed specifically for a different spirit, to enjoy the drinking fully.
